Danielle Baker is a freelance hair and makeup artist based in Suffolk, East Anglia who regularly travels the surrounding counties of Essex and Cambridgeshire and has also worked across the UK.

With a signature style of enhancing and working with you to create a soft, glowing, fresh faced look for whatever the occasion you are having your hair and makeup done for.

Work –

Danielle has also been chosen twice as Regional Finalist in both the makeup and hair categories at The Wedding Industry Awards.

These awards are solely based on reviews of client’s experience with various wedding suppliers: service, knowledge and expertise are considered.

To have been shortlisted as a Regional Finalist, twice, is a considerable achievement.

Danielle has trained extensively in both hair and makeup and feels that being able to do both hair and makeup for the bridal party is the perfect way to keep a smaller wedding intimate and bespoke.

However, she is also delighted to work with larger bridal parties and has a small circle of highly skilled professionals that she can call on should extra pairs of hands be needed.

Danielle is passionate about her work and feels lucky to have a career where she helps her clients to feel magical and comfortable in their own skin.

Level 3 qualified in hairdressing, and having completed a number of added courses and PPD within the hair and beauty industry over the years.

Passing the AET course at West Suffolk College, while also volunteering there. I feel this has helped me offer a set of skills that can be offered to my clients.

About me – Personal

When not in work mode you will find me with my family, which includes my two daughters and our two cockapoo’s Megladon and Mistress, along with our two tortoises we really are a mixture in our house.

We are a neurodiverse household so its never a dull moment thats for sure, my family keep me on my toes but it also means that I am usually the calmer one in a crisis and I plan for every eventuality.

I love surrounding and submersing myself in nature, beaches, woods any place where I can just sit and breathe in the fresh air and calm myself.

I am a bit of a geek and you will often find me with a book in my hand, I usually have at least one on the go, I love a good thriller and crime, but have recently even picked out a few philosophy books and reference books. I just love learning, everyday is a school day.

I adore things that are considered “not the norm” and believe there really is beauty in everything sometimes you may just have to look at it a little differently.
